FREE ADDICTION TREATMENT

At Victory Family Rescue Mission, we believe freedom from addiction should never come with a price tag. That’s why we offer our program completely free to the public, but that also means funding is a constant challenge.  

 

Several years ago, a woman in our recovery program had an idea. “I know my grandmother’s banana nut bread recipe. Why don’t we bake some and sell it?”  

 

We baked a few loaves, went into the community, and shared our mission. People didn’t just donate—they kept coming back, eager to support something bigger than just a slice of warm, homemade bread.  

 

That moment sparked what is now the Banana Nut Bread Ministry, a labor of love that today provides 85% of our operating budget. Since 1994, without government grants or outside funding, we have helped thousands of men and women find freedom from addiction through Jesus Christ.  

 

But we didn’t stop there. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we were able to build a commercial bakery, expanding our impact and baking more than just bread—we're baking hope, second chances, and rebuilding lives through Christ.
