Army Veteran Turned Pastor Helps Heal Houston

For over 30 years, Victory Family Rescue Mission has been a place of restoration in the heart of Houston. Founded in 1994 by Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient Joe Trevino and his wife Carmen, the mission has served thousands of men and women trapped in addiction and homelessness, veterans, families, and individuals desperate for a second chance. Through multiple residential facilities across the city, we provide shelter, meals, counseling, and discipleship for those ready to rebuild their lives.

But the need in Houston keeps growing. Every day, more men and women reach out for help than our current facilities can hold. Because of your generosity we were able to purchase 2.4 acres of land near downtown Houston that will become the new home of Victory Family Rescue Mission!

On this new location we will build a 100-bed Rescue Home. This will be an 18,000-square-foot facility that will allow us to serve hundreds more men and women. This new home will not just be a building; it will be a place of redemption. A place where people can meet Jesus, rebuild their lives, and return to their families and communities with hope. But to take this step of faith, we need to raise the remaining $150,000 to begin phase one.

Every gift matters. Whether it’s $100, $500, $1,000, or $10,000, your generosity will directly fund the construction of the new Rescue Mission in Houston where countless lives will be rebuilt.

We’re asking you to stand with us. Your gift today will help build hope in the city of Houston. Together, we can leave a legacy that will outlive us, a legacy of transformation for generations to come. Thank you for your prayers, your partnership, and your faith in what God can do.

With gratitude,
